back here again, not the way i'd planned to come back.
it's been 3 years since i've been here last.
the emerald mountains and the mists are still there; the sights, smells, and sounds.
the farms, rice paddies, surrounded by hills and mountains.

the beauty is all still here, and i feel connected to this place.
connected to the quiet calm of the nature around me..
but to the people, to the culture, i feel detached and out of place.
so, i wonder: will i ever feel at home anywhere?

part of me will always dream about these mountains
even long after i leave.
and maybe in a few years, i'll be back again.
